Universa Care is hiring a homemaker and companion to provide care to clients in their own homes in Danbury and nearby towns, Connecticut. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office.

Pay: $16.94 to $25 per hour.

Schedule: Part-time and full-time.

• Provide companionship, conversation and activities
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine

• A caring attitude and reliability; caregiving experience is a plus
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

• Referral bonus: earn $250 for each caregiver you refer once they complete their first 100 hours
• Tuition assistance after 2,500 hours worked with Universa Care, for approved programs that advance your career (amount set case by case)
