Assist technologists during procedures in order to expedite the best diagnosis to patient and deliver quality care.
Responsibilities- 1. Greets patients, directs patient flow from waiting rooms to exam rooms. Has patient fill out proper forms if applicable.
- 2. Evaluates patient prescriptions to ensure proper exam is performed pertaining to individual ailment.
- 3. Orders and completes all cerner functions.
- 4. Changes patient and prepares patient for procedure.
- 5. Performs exam with technologist and offers assistance to patient, technologist, & radiologist throughout entire procedure.
- 6. Retrieves x-rays, medical records, nuclear medicine reports and develops radiographs as needed.
- 7. Brings films to radiologist to evaluate.
- 8. Cleans exam room following procedures and restocks used materials.
- 9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- 10. Performs other duties as assigned.

zero to six months - Desired:
Previous experience in radiological services, knowledge of human anatomy, knowledge of department procedures.
