Job Overview
Job Title: Global ITS Data Center Operator
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Location: Danbury, CT
Hours: 1st Shift, 7am – 3:30pm, Saturday and Sunday
Pay: $28 / hr on W2
Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr
Job Description:
Monitor Systems Availability in the Data Center and report system failures to appropriate support personnel.
Monitor Windows Server security patching and troubleshoot issues; decommission Windows Servers.
Monitor and respond to Service Desk tickets via Micro Focus Service Manager.
Monitor System Backup logs and process file restores upon request.
Process LAN and terminations; maintain record keeping for LAN IDs; administer shared folder access (Windows environment).
Monitor Network Availability – Network Operations Center (NOC).
Light use of Power Shell, VBScript or similar scripting language.
Utilize Orion Solar Winds for system/network monitoring.

- Utilize Orion Solarwinds, for System/Network monitoring.
- Requires a self-driven individual able to work under minimum supervision.
- Must be able to report to work during inclement weather days.
- Experienced with Active Directory.
- Must have good verbal and written skills.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP.
- Systems monitoring experience.
- Experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or similar Job Scheduling tool.
