Field Engineer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Field Engineer 2 for a 12+ months Contract job with a client in Danbury, CT
. The role requires a solid background in soldering, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly. Base pay range listed is $38.00/hr - $43.00/hr, with potential negotiation based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Electrical experience with soldering.
• Electrical assembly and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Thorough understanding of the Company's products and equipment.
• Engineering concepts and practices.
• Ability to select the most effective approaches and adapt standard practices and procedures to resolve complex semi-technical problems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead less experienced staff.
• Decisions and actions are based on individual knowledge and experience and may affect quality, schedule, and rework; assignments are not subject to close scrutiny. Highly complex problems are referred to engineers or a supervisor.

• Must have an associate's Degree in engineering or related field plus 1 - 5 years of experience or a special combination of education and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
