Position Overview
Human Edge Health is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a travel assignment in Danbury, CT. This role will focus on providing comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients in a high-acuity, Level II Trauma setting.
Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-anesthesia nursing care and monitoring for surgical patients

• Assess and manage patient recovery from sedation and anesthesia

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff to ensure safe patient transitions

• Document all care in Cerner EMR

• Respond quickly to patient changes and emergencies
Qualifications

• Valid RN license (state-eligible or CT license at time of start)

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience

• Strong clinical judgment in post-op patient care

• Experience in acute hospital settings preferred

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour Nights
