Travel RN- L&D- FlexStaff Contracts

The Travel RN position involves providing comprehensive nursing care for patients in a Med-Tele unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a flexible contract opportunity.

• Pay: $2902/week
• Location: Danbury, CT
• Facility: Northwell Health
• Schedule: Full-Time

• Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
• Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition.
• Assess level of pain and pain management.
• Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Assess patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
• Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
• Implement the plan of care and maintain patient safety.
• Administer medications correctly and safely.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
