Travel Nurse Source  is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Danbury, North Carolina, 27016!

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Long-Term Acute Care – ConnecticutStart Date: November 9, 2026Location: ConnecticutCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week with every other weekend requiredHighlights:

• Low acuity geriatric population in a skilled nursing environment with patient ratios of 1:40 (1:20 during peak med pass hours from 7 PM - 11 PM)
• 13-week contract with 24 hours of orientation provided
• No call requirement and no floating required
• Point Click Care  electronic medical record system (experience required)
• 40-bed unit with average daily census of 36 residents
• Supportive team environment with two CNAs and dual nursing coverage until 11 PM

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Long-term acute care (LTAC) experience required
• Proficiency with Point Click Care  documentation system required
• Experience with skilled nursing home settings, medication administration (oral, IM, SQ, IV), wound care, feeding tube management, catheter care, and geriatric assessment
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate skilled nursing experience
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Community hospital experience
• Experience with dementia, memory care, CVA, Parkinson's disease, and end-of-life care
• Familiarity with central line care, wound VAC therapy, and tracheostomy care
• Trauma Level I or II experience
