All About Food & BeverageThe Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring the product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.
Responsibilities- Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily and weekly workload to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
- Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekend shifts).
- Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly business priorities set by your direct lead.
- Assess Food Service back of house, production areas, dining spaces and merchandising spaces to ensure food safety and proper inventory levels.
- Walk Food & Beverage Standards and Food Service routines daily to assess priorities and review reporting to identify business gaps for follow-up.
- Follow all food safety requirements and cleaning routines, including monitoring and recording temperature-sensitive food items.
- Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against department checklists and routines.
- Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications (where applicable).
- Participate in team hiring and onboarding process.
- At direction of your direct leader, establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations.
- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to follow safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurate.
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the food service business.
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
- Strong communication and multiple device proficiency.
- Work independently and as part of a team, managing workload and prioritizing tasks independently.
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
- Effective communication skills.
