Position SummaryThe Dishwasher performs a variety of food service functions, maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of food services, facilities, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions of food services, facilities, and equipment.
- Remove all garbage, leaving machinery empty, clean, dry, and floors clean after each meal.
- Follow posted work schedule and arrive on time in appropriate work attire.
- Wash china, flatware, glassware, and other kitchen equipment using machine rinse pressure and water temperature.
- Maintain kitchen and assigned area in a sanitary manner.
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with co‑workers and residents.
- May be required to help with food preparation, inventory, maintenance, food deliveries, and stocking shelves.
Some kitchen experience desirable.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Familiar with food handling procedures and regulations.
- Know how to operate kitchen appliances such as dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker, and ice machine.
