Sr. Security Associate – 3rd Shift; D} DoD Security Clearance

Overview

Sr. Security Associate – 3rd Shift {D} $2500 Sign-On Bonus for Active DoD Security Clearance at ARKA Group, LP. This role is at the Danbury, CT manufacturing facility and focuses on the Physical Security of the facility, controlling entry, access, and ensuring DoD, Customer, and Company security regulations are adhered to. You will report to the Physical Security Manager of Danbury and work with personnel across the enterprise.

This is a 3rd shift position and offers a 12% shift differential. Standard schedule is 11:00pm – 7:00am. Hires with an existing security clearance will train on first shift for 3–4 weeks; those without a clearance may remain on first shift during interim clearance processing (up to ~12 months). On-site presence in Danbury, CT five days a week is required. Overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts may be needed.

• Check badges of employees and contractors as they enter and leave the facility
• Verify authorization of visitors to enter the facility
• Ensure visitors complete appropriate forms, issue badges, inspect items for classified material, company property, or prohibited items, and verify property access
• Interact with customers and employees in a polite and professional manner
• Maintain detailed records and perform other security tasks as assigned
• Conduct exterior perimeter checks of the building
• Provide coverage for company functions during and after business hours
• Conduct traffic control and vehicle inspections
• Respond to emergency situations, including building evacuations and medical incidents

• 5+ years of prior relevant security experience in industrial security, military police, or law enforcement
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a clearance

• Working knowledge of NISPOM regulations

The position is onsite at our facility in Danbury, CT

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. ITC & Security Clearance requirements and related forms are provided by government agencies.
