The Regional Transportation Specialist will be responsible for managing activities focused on transportation operations and enhancing processes and solutions. This role requires a strong communicator with a thorough understanding of transportation/freight processes who will work both independently and collaboratively with other teams to implement transport initiatives for both the Americas region and Belimo Global Group.

• Execute global and regional freight/transportation tenders and negotiations for all transport modes together with the Transport Manager and related functions.
• Execute Quarterly Performance Reviews with respective logistics service providers and drive ongoing service level improvements in terms of cost, service performance, and data accuracy.
• Support internal functions (including US-based procurement team and Global Procurement Logistics lead) in resolving transportation-related issues across the Americas region, including damage claims.
• Manage transportation suppliers’ performance both operationally (On‑Time Delivery and financial ensuring spend is in line with budget and forecasts) and via freight invoice audit.
• Develop and evaluate additional transport solution requests and suppliers as requested.
• Continuously review and improve the efficiency of internal transportation ordering and execution processes, eliminating waste, lowering total cost, and improving overall performance.
• Support and provide subject‑matter expertise in related Group Transportation development projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of transportation markets, global trade/customs, dangerous goods restrictions, CO₂e calculation principles, and related transportation legislation.
• Act as Regional SAP TMS subject‑matter lead, orchestrating application use and maintaining up‑to‑date regional specific rates and routes within the TMS.
• Support regional and local SAP TMS users as required to ensure successful usage.

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Supply Chain Management or a transportation‑related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Transportation Management, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain functions.
• Experience with SAP 4/HANA and (SAP) Transport Management System strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel globally and regionally, 10‑15%.
• Strong technical knowledge in international transportation, including sourcing, customs, operations, and execution.
• Good analytical skills, comfortable working with large data sets and related software packages.
• Skilled at managing multiple and competing priorities; self‑motivated with a high sense of urgency.
• Senior‑level communication skills to engage with senior management.
• Comprehensive market understanding and ability to advise internal Belimo customers in all related transport matters.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS product suite and transportation‑related technologies.

The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 to $107,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
