Sales Operations Specialist III

Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
The Sales Operations Specialist III at Advantech is responsible for daily order management, customer relations, and analyzing information necessary to ensure products are successfully launched and fulfilled in a timely manner. Being a self‑starter is critical, as this person will work directly with specific Key Account Managers to develop, plan, launch, manufacture, and market their assigned accounts and to resolve any issues that may occur.
Responsibilities- Order management on bookings, shipping, expediting, and backlog management for assigned accounts.
- Validate the accuracy of purchase orders on price, MOQ/MSQ, incoterm, shipping points, NCNR and communicate with customers for any necessary changes.
- Collaborate with assigned Key Account Managers to support sales operations and drive future business after mass production.
- Facilitate end‑of‑life execution (LTB, LOI) and communicate internally and externally to complete the process.
- Monitor customer receivable balances, assist the Accounts Receivable team with collections, and provide recommendations regarding credit issues that may prevent shipment release.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders including Accounting, Production, Supply Chain/Peripheral Trading, Logistics, RMA, etc., to resolve issues.
- Work with Supply Chain for demand planning and inventory balancing.
- Mitigate risk by proactively identifying and reporting potential challenges, working closely with customers and stakeholders until cases are closed.
- Mentor and coach a small team, making decisions with minimal supervision.
- Manage VMI/SMI/Kanban programs with a proven track record of success.
- Conduct month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end account activity analysis using CRM.
- Organize and participate in Q meetings with Key Accounts, taking action and driving results.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Strong computer literacy with MS Office suite (Outlook, advanced Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Extremely detail‑oriented, analytical, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to interface with external and internal stakeholders at all levels and provide world‑class service.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently, and self‑starter.

- Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience). - 5+ years of experience in a combination of Customer Success Management, Account Management, or Supply Chain Management from industries with global presences.
- Experience utilizing SAP Hana 4.
- Fluent in English (bilingual).
- Minimum 2 years managing Key Accounts with annual revenue ≥$10M successfully.
