• Yield Improvement: Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and rework; improve yield and production efficiency. Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to address root causes.
• Issue Management: Resolve manufacturing issues requiring heightened focus; implement protocols for critical issues to minimize production impact.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, employing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and streamline workflows.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience and Skills:
  • 0‑2 years manufacturing engineering experience; internship/co‑op for new graduates
  • Yield improvement and/or process optimization projects
  • Root cause investigation tools
  • Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Data‑driven problem‑solving
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Preferred:
  • Medical device or regulated industry experience
  • Introduction of new products to production or scale‑up experience
