Key Responsibilities- Yield Improvement: Analyze manufacturing processes to reduce scrap and rework; improve yield and production efficiency. Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to address root causes.
- Issue Management: Resolve manufacturing issues requiring heightened focus; implement protocols for critical issues to minimize production impact.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, employing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and streamline workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience and Skills:
- 0‑2 years manufacturing engineering experience; internship/co‑op for new graduates
- Yield improvement and/or process optimization projects
- Root cause investigation tools
- Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Data‑driven problem‑solving
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred:
- Medical device or regulated industry experience
- Introduction of new products to production or scale‑up experience
Base pay range: $65,000.00 - $. Eligible for annual performance bonus and long‑term incentive program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
