Per Diem Ambulatory Infusion RN for Danvers. Monday thru Friday. No weekend or night shifts. No on‑call requirement. Oncology or infusion experience preferred.
Job SummaryAccountable for interpreting plans of medical care, assessing patients’ clinical decision‑making regarding nursing care, ensuring nursing care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized care, and evaluating care for groups of patients.
Essential Functions- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
Education: Associate’s Degree Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred. No experience in lieu of a degree.
Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN – State License).
Experience: 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
- Knowledge of care required by respective age groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
