The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $18.00 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $18.00 USD - $27.00 USD per hour.

ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will have the opportunity to develop skills such as knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience in retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

The role of a General Merchandise Expert can provide you with the following responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and maintain compliance culture while executing duties.
