About the PositionWe are hiring an HVAC Service Technician for 2nd Shift. This position will provide service & maintenance on a variety of residential equipment including propane, natural gas, and oil, and requires technicians to have Oil and Gas licenses and EPA Universal Certification. Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Work Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm / 2nd Shift
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $38.00 to $50.00+ per hour, based on experience and capabilities
Responsibilities- Service and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Work with oil, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
- Operate propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment
- Provide excellent customer service
- Consult and educate homeowners on systems and products
- Contact tech support with diagnostic questions
- Daily use of tablet
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- 5+ years of HVAC experience
- EPA Universal Certification
- MA Gas license
- MA Oil license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience consulting customers with repair and replace decisions
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from an HVAC technical school desired
