About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at Reeder Music Academy in Danville, CA. The role requires in‑person instruction. Ability to teach a secondary instrument is a plus and may lead to a fuller time opportunity depending on the instrument(s). Job Type: Part‑time.
ResponsibilitiesProvide one‑on‑one piano lessons, maintaining consistent availability with preference for Saturday slots. Work within the open hours while ensuring students and staff appreciate consistency.
Qualifications- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
Pay: $35‑$40 per hour, commensurate with experience. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 90 days. Health benefit packages are available for all part‑time and full‑time employees at Ensemble.
