OSF Health Care's Summer Intern Program offers nursing students a chance to advance knowledge and skills in patient care. Reports to Patient Care Manager and works with an RN partner who supervises the intern's experience while maintaining accountability for assigned patients.
Interns perform basic nursing procedures appropriate to the patient's age, with duties expanding as skills are learned and competencies documented. GPA 3.0 and clinical rotation completed are required.
