We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales duties, from generating leads to closing sales. What does a Sales Associate do? Sales Associate duties include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions. You should also resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure maximum satisfaction. To succeed, stay updated on product features and maintain high standards in store appearance.

Ultimately, your goal is to provide excellent customer service while meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Go the extra mile to drive sales
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable about products and discuss options
• Process POS (point of sale) transactions
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build trust relationships with customers
• Suggest ways to improve sales, such as marketing activities or store design changes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Sales Associate or similar role
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Friendly and energetic personality focused on customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
