• Plan, direct, and supervise day‑to‑day operations and team members.
• Serve as mentor and coach for all team members.
• Improve customer service, drive sales, and meet customer needs efficiently.
• Maintain store appearance, prime shopping hours, product presentation, and company standards.
• Lead succession planning, career paths, and promotion decisions.
• Document disciplinary actions and make recommendations concerning discharge.
• Assume responsibility for P&L, sales achievement, and shrink prevention.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative.
• Ensure team training and safety compliance.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2‑3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Experience in meat, bakery, produce, deli, customer service, or product flow helpful.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data for decision making.
• Proven mentoring and leadership of all team members.
• Successful completion of all required certifications.

$18.00 – $26.50 per hour (range reflects market data and experience).
