Position: English/Language Arts Teacher, Grade 7
Location: Danville Community Middle School
Employment Type: Full‑time
Days/Hrs: Full‑Time
Start Date: 01/26/2026
Qualifications: Must hold an Indiana teaching license for English/Language Arts at the secondary level.
Responsibilities- Plan, prepare & deliver lesson plans & instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Participate in department, school, district and parent meetings.
