Job Summary
Hendricks Regional Health job shadowing opportunities are available for those interested in shadowing one specific department or position. This is not an internship but a one-time unpaid shadowing opportunity.
Please note that not all job shadow requests can be accommodated due to time and availability.
Job DescriptionJob shadow/Observation students will observe/shadow a healthcare provider or team to see if that role is a fit for them. Our Volunteer Services team coordinates job shadow/observations scheduling and will do their best to match individuals with the most relevant, enriching opportunity.
Qualifications for a Standard Shadow Request- Must be at least 16 years old for standard job shadow experiences (some opportunities require participant to be 18 years old)
- Observation only
- Does not extend beyond 7 days
- Provide vaccine documentation and additional documentation provided by a Volunteer Services coordinator
Applications that do not list specific areas of interest or specific dates of availability will not be considered. Dates listed should be 3 weeks to a month out from the application date. If sooner dates are listed, your application will not be considered.
