FOX is seeking a top caliber Fitness Specialist to join our growing team in the Danville, IN area. This position is approx 5 hours weekly with room to grow.

Founded in 1998, FOX was the first private practice in the country to provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population, helping patients restore quality of life and focusing on evidence-based therapy.

Senior Living - Memory care experience a plus.

Current class schedule - M & F starting at 10:30a.

1:1s and small groups.

Continuing education opportunities.

The Fitness Specialist Opportunity Entails:

• Patient continuity:
  Patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services.
• Excellent support system:
  Fox provides significant support for our Fitness Specialists through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager.

• Must have one of the following:
  Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology;
  Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred (i.e., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA); or prior experience as a fitness trainer, with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer.
• Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities.
• Expand territory as needed.
• Travel as needed per practice requirements.
• CPR Certification.
• Previous experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
