Job DesignationReporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Calibration Technician performs a variety of calibrations and tunes various equipment, implements and maintains procedures for calibration, manages instrumentation, keeps good records, and supports all quality objectives for Parker Meggitt using established quality and reliability standards.
Job Core Responsibilities- Calibrate, tune, troubleshoot, document, and write procedures for a variety of calibration tasks that include ovens, pre‑form CNC equipment, induction furnaces, test stands, and various instruments.
- Knowledgeable in electricity and circuitry for safe working.
- Support all quality assignments for inspection, testing, auditing and etc.
- Support all Parker Meggitt Production System objectives and utilize lean tools for continual improvement of the site.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure the safety and general welfare of all employees.
- Perform any other tasks properly assigned by the Quality Manager.
A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred

Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in related field. ASQ CQI and/or CQT certifications and ISO‑9000 familiarity are a plus

2-5 years of relevant experience.
Skills- Interpret blueprints and have a working knowledge of GD&T.
- Solid knowledge and experience in testing equipment such as scopes, oscillators, digital multimeters, frequency counters, power sources, distortion analyzers.
- Able to troubleshoot test equipment circuits and systems, analog and digital.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, manuals and test procedures.
- Capable of recognizing and solving typical problems that can occur in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established options.
- Effective oral and written communication.
