• Unit: Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 3 Registered Nurse positions available
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1700 - $1820

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state)
• BLS Certification (required before first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required before first shift)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and prioritize patient safety

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and create individualized patient care plans
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards
• Supervise and guide Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
• Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare team conferences and support patient rehabilitation programs
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education from admission
• Maintain a safe hospital environment by following policies and reporting hazards
• Foster a positive team culture and participate in unit-based activities
• Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing jobs
