Join a Leading Pediatric Emergency Medicine Team singer is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and growing team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity to practice high-quality, innovative pediatric emergency care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Team

At Geisinger, you’ll work alongside a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of pediatric emergency professionals, including:

  • Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nurses across the system
  • In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24/7
  • Certified Child Life Specialists to support children and families during care
  • Advanced practice providers (APPs) and emergency medicine physicians
  • Fellowship-trained PEM physicians who lead initiatives in education, quality improvement, and clinical innovation
  • Collaborative subspecialty support from nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed children’s hospital
  • A culture of team-based care, continuous learning, and shared decision-making

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $350,000
  • Fellowship stipend:
    Calculated at $2,500/month from offer acceptance to graduation
  • Forgivable recruitment loan: $100,000 paid in the first month
  • Relocation assistance, malpractice with tail, and retirement contributions
  • $3,500 CME allowance annually
  • Low cost of living and proximity to NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited PEM fellowship
  • Strong clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Interest in program development, medical education, and research
