Job SummaryGeisinger is seeking a board‑certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician for a primary care opportunity in central Pennsylvania at several long‑term care facilities.
Job DutiesThe nursing home/skilled nursing facility‑based physician works in conjunction with community medicine clinical staff, applicable insurance case management staff, and skilled nursing facilities to ensure patients are appropriately managed in the sub‑acute and/or long‑term care setting. The physician provides direct (hands‑on) care in nursing homes/skilled facilities with a goal to improve quality and prevent unnecessary re‑admissions to the acute care setting.
The locations include long‑term care facilities Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation and Emmanuel Center at Maria Joseph Manor, Danville, Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Milton and Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Watsontown, PA.

- Up to $250k recruitment incentives
- Continuing medical education – 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
