Part Time – Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Role: Inpatient RN responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient and family needs.
• Coordinate care, including treatments, medications, diagnostics, and discharge planning.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual aspects of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to unit decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Ability to perform assessments and provide direct patient care.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.

Additional Details: The position involves working in a 24-bed unit with patients requiring telemetry and complex inpatient care, including those with respiratory, cardiac, renal, GI, or postoperative needs. The schedule is part-time, with day shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.
