This role is for a registered nurse providing inpatient care on a 19-bed medical unit, handling patients with diverse conditions requiring treatments, drains, tubes, trachs, and respiratory devices.
Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and coordinating care plans, administering treatments and medications, evaluating intervention effectiveness, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The nurse promotes compassionate, safe, and patient-centered interactions, actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to unit decision-making.
The position requires a nursing degree, flexibility for a minimum of 24 hours availability every 4 weeks, and working at least one weekend or holiday shift per schedule.
