Inpatient Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Seeking an Advanced Practitioner to support inpatient Palliative Medicine needs within a clinical environment.

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Accurately document in electronic medical records, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate therapies based on evidence-based practices.
• Adjust or discontinue medications as needed, and report significant risks to collaborating physicians.
• Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner licensure.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare staff via multiple channels.
• Provide safe, ethical care and health education to patients and families, acting as their advocate.
• Interpret policies and guidelines to meet organizational goals and deadlines.

• Master's Degree in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).
• Ability to evaluate patient needs, perform procedures, and communicate clearly with team and patients.
