Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Acute Care

Inpatient RN responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating nursing activities to deliver compassionate, safe, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced, 24-bed unit.

• Conduct assessments.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and coordinate care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Participate in evidence-based practice.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
• Promote patient and family satisfaction.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with the ability to meet unit standards and scope of practice.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and compassionate care skills essential.
• Flexibility to work a minimum of 24 hours per schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Provide complex inpatient care for patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, cardiac and renal conditions, GI disorders, and postoperative needs.
• Collaborate closely with ER and PACU departments, supporting those interested in emergency or critical care nursing.
