Registered Nurse – Float

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse at a children’s hospital, providing direct patient care and coordinating comprehensive care plans.

• Perform assessments and address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and promote evidence-based practice.
• Participate in quality, safety, and unit-based decision-making activities.
• Contribute to a team environment focused on organizational goals and patient safety.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to float across units and work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality improvement, and professional development.
