LPN – Practical Nurse – Gastroenterology

This position supports primary clinical care in outpatient settings, assisting providers, patients, and families with diagnosis and treatment. The role involves documenting patient history, vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and providing direct care under provider supervision.

• Obtain and document medical histories, chief complaints, and vital signs.
• Assist in minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens with accuracy.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including skin testing.
• Maintain aseptic conditions and prepare examination rooms between patients.
• Communicate patient information effectively to providers and respond to patient inquiries.

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Ability to provide care for patients within specific age ranges.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment and following organizational policies.
