Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Medical Unit

Key responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering treatments and medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate care and work effectively within a team
• Commitment to safety, quality, and patient-centered care

• Perform patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Coordinate and provide comprehensive care, including education and discharge planning
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures as per policy
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly
• Collaborate proactively with physicians and support staff to meet patient needs
• Participate in unit decision-making, safety programs, and professional development activities
