Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Breast Surgery

As a Breast Surgery APP, you will play an integral role in the care of patients throughout their treatment journey by:

• Evaluating and managing new and established patients in collaboration with Breast Surgeons
• Performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging
• Prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions within the scope of practice
• Coordinating care across specialties and supporting seamless patient transitions
• Providing patient education, counseling, and advocacy
• Managing telephone triage and clinical communications
• Documenting patient encounters within the electronic medical record
• Collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care

• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
• Certified Nurse Practitioner certification
• Certified Physician Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
