Danville, VA | Direct Hire | $80,000-$103,000 | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Graham Personnel Services is proud to partner with a global leader in consumer goods manufacturing to recruit an Accounting Manager for their Danville, VA facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in financial analysis, internal controls, audit management, and continuous improvement, with strong technical skills in SAP and Excel.

• Lead the execution of internal controls and J‑SOX implementation to strengthen financial reporting accuracy and compliance
• Manage Key Account Reconciliations (KAR), perform balance sheet analysis, and support Market Free Cash Flow (MFCF) planning and forecasting
• Act as project manager for internal audits – coordinating requests, reviewing findings, and ensuring timely implementation of audit recommendations
• Prepare and submit statutory financial reports to multiple government agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
• Monitor and analyze GR/IR accounts in SAP to prevent accumulation of unreconciled balances
• Oversee fixed asset and inventory reconciliation, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution
• Conduct financial and operational analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support other accounting and reporting projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3‑5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or multinational consumer goods environment
• Proven experience with internal controls and financial compliance implementation
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Market Free Cash Flow (MFCF) analysis
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication
