Energy & Utilities Engineer (1-2 years of experience)
Reports To: Engineering Manager
About the RoleAre you an early-career engineer looking to make a real impact? As an Energy & Utilities Engineer
, you’ll help optimize energy use across the factory, supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. You’ll get hands‑on experience with projects, processes, and systems that keep the factory running smoothly — all while building your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience who’s eager to learn, contribute ideas, and grow in their engineering career.
What You’ll Do Support Projects- Help plan and roll out energy-focused capital projects
. - Assist with calculations and provide ideas to make our energy usage smarter and more efficient.
- Work with contractors during installation to make sure everything is safe, on time, and high quality.
- Track and plan our factory’s energy use, including budgeting and reporting.
- Drive energy-saving initiatives and help reach our performance goals.
- Work with our EHS team on energy KPIs and help create purchase orders in SAP for energy projects.
- Partner with the Building Manager to maintain utilities and equipment (like electrical systems, HVAC, compressors, boilers, pumps, and more).
- Make sure energy is reliable and efficiently supplied across production, warehousing, and office areas.
- Help with compliance, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Support improvement initiatives using our Integrated Work System (IWS).
- Participate in daily planning and 90‑day improvement projects to help the team work smarter.
- Share your knowledge and help develop team members in energy and process improvement.
- Collaborate with teams across Procurement, Finance, HR, EHS, and Production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).
- 1–2 years of experience in energy management, industrial engineering, or utilities in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Analytical thinker who enjoys problem‑solving and improving processes.
- Great communicator and team player.
- Comfortable working with SAP or similar systems.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
