Overview

  • Scheduling ushers monthly and coordinating both ushers and any volunteer staff on day of show
  • Updating and maintaining entertainment calendar, tracker and inventory for the department
  • Ensure entertainment signage is properly displayed for shows and striked when applicable
  • Troubleshooting ticketing and general guest issues by resolving complaints and requests from guests on day of show
  • Assist entertainment management with ticketing and box office needs through Ticketmaster using Archtics & TM1
  • Program ticket scanners and send ticket scanning reports to IT
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and casino VIP guests
  • Provide additional support to Thread Bar & Pool Entertainment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in gaming, entertainment or hospitality is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Able to type 35 words per minute
  • Ability to maintain composure and excellent guest relations under all circumstances. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • General knowledge of Ticketmaster products (Archtics, Host, TM1)
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
  • Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
  • Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to team member and guest problems, in a timely manner.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to individuals with questions.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office and property.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk/counter when performing functions of the job.
