Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Inspector (Danville, Virginia)
The Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority is seeking an HQS Inspector to work part-time Tuesday-Friday (32 hours per week). Coordinates, schedules, and conducts housing inspections of private rental housing for the Authority’s Housing Choice Voucher program. Inspects properties for minimum standards and certifies housing units for compliance with Housing Assistance Program standards and various codes and regulations. Must receive HQS certification within the first year of employment, have a clean driving record, and hold a Virginia or North Carolina driver’s license.
