ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) are in compliance with all federal, state, local and Agency regulations, policies, and procedures. Assists in all aspects of facility operations; assists with budget development and coordination of the cost settlement process; gathers baseline data and coordinates screening, admission, and discharge of individuals; establishes teamwork with contract professionals including physicians and other medical professionals;
coordinates development and implementation of individualized programs; ensures proper administration of medication by staff; participates in staff recruitment, training and supervision, and monitoring of work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at all times. Plans own work with supervisory consultation and considerable latitude for decision making. Functions without direct oversight in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Minimum Requirements
- M1:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field - OR Registered Nurse with a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Virginia
- M2:
At least one year clinical experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities - M3:
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- P1:
Supervisory experience - Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range $51,821 - $90,687
5% Increase for Qualified Mental Health Professional
