Alpha Counselor (4319)
Danville Pittsylvania Chamber of Commerce
Responsibilities- Provide services for individuals identified or with potential for mental illness and/or substance abuse
- Screenings, intakes, and orientations
- Assessments, counseling, developing, and monitoring treatment plans
- Case management education
- Report and record‑keeping in accordance with regulations
- Crisis intervention and outreach services
- Consultation with other professionals and referrals
- Maintain current knowledge
- Maintain individual confidentiality
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, or other approved Human Services field
- OR Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner in Virginia
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Successful completion of fingerprint, state and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and CANIS report
- Commitment to a drug‑free workplace
$43,722 - $76,514
