Occupational Therapist Assistant, Certified COTA

How You'll Contribute- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
- Assist with therapeutic interventions, documentation, and quality compliance.
- Communicate patient progress to the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team.
- Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in programs and home exercises.
- Assist with patient scheduling and post-treatment charges in patient records daily.
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws.

Applicants must be licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state of Virginia.
Additional Requirements- CPR certification.
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
Sovah Health Acute Rehab is a 10-bed intensive rehabilitation unit with short length of stay and high functional outcomes. We plan to expand bed capacity in the next year.
