Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
- License required if applicable
- Strong critical thinking skills and CT-specific technical competency
- Experience with common diagnoses including PE, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and MVA trauma
Responsibilities
- Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department (2nd floor), CT unit
- 250-bed facility with average census of 100-110 patients
- Equipment includes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Patient population is mostly adults and geriatric, with occasional pediatric cases
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
- Every other weekend required with variable weekend hours to cover staff absences
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Facility is an academic community hospital with comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED, cardiac rehabilitation, and 2 cath labs
- Designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center
- Team-oriented environment seeking candidates with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Scrubs of any color accepted; jeans and leggings not permitted
- Consent to random on-site drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form required
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
