Overview
Are you someone who takes pride in cleanliness, teamwork, and creating a smooth kitchen operation? The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research is hiring a Part-Time Dishwasher to support our food and beverage services by keeping everything spotless, safe, and running efficiently behind the scenes.
Base pay range: $12.00/hr - $13.00/hr this range is provided by Up to Par Management, LLC. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
What You'll Be Doing- Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, utensils, and food-service equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and storage areas
- Operate dish washing machines safely and according to procedures
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and check chemical levels regularly
- Stock incoming food and non-food items
- Remove damaged items from service and properly dispose of waste
- Perform deep cleaning duties and maintain a safe work environment
- Attend required trainings and departmental meetings
- Follow sanitation and safety standards at all times
- Assist with various kitchen or service area tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) cleaning and dish washing procedures
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- Dependable, adaptable, and committed to team success
