Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This overnight position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth front desk operations, balancing daily financials, and providing excellent guest service during evening and overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Duties
    • Audit and balance folios.
    • Reconcile guest folios, ensuring charges are correct.
    • Prepare daily revenue and operational reports.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Assist guests with late-night check-ins and early check-outs.
    • Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
    • Answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly.
    • Conduct property walks and ensure quiet hours are abided by. Handle any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Security & Safety
    • Maintain property security, perform safety checks in the hotel, ensure doors are locked, and monitor the security cameras.
    • Respond to emergencies and incidents calmly and professionally.
    • Uphold hotel policies and maintain a safe environment for all.
  • Administrative & Guest Service
    • Complete end-of-day processes including posting charges and backups.
    • Prepare and distribute shift reports to management.
    • Deliver exceptional guest service, resolve concerns, and anticipate needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused during overnight hours.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Danville’s local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
