B&A is seeking a HR Business Applications and Solutions Database Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Human Resources Management (HRM) Applications Information Technology (IT) Sustainment Support effort. This is an off-site position with periodic support for meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. January 2027 - Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 2 Option Years
- Salary Range: $140,000-$190,000
Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security requirements, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Location- Off-Site / Contractor Place of Performance
Note:
Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places of performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Administer computerized databases; project long-range database administration/design requirements; design, create, and maintain client/server databases.
- Conduct database quality control/auditing; advise users on access; maintain complex databases, database dictionaries, standards/procedures, file design/storage, and systems integration.
- Perform database programming and support systems design, performance, security, backup, and tuning activities.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
- At least three (3) years of hands–on experience with Relational Database Management Systems.
- Experience with various operating systems and additional programming languages.
- Experience on at least two projects in a large organization administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
- At least two (2) years of experience with federal Human Resources IT systems.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- One applicable Computing Environment certification/credential from the following:
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure - SQL Server (MCA: SQL Server) - Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert (MC: Azure SAE) - Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- Database Administrator (MCITP DBA) - Microsoft Certified Master - SQL Server (MCM: SQL Server)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
- Windows Server (MCSA: WS) - Oracle Certified Professional
- Database (OCP DB) - Microsoft Certified Solutions Master
- Data Platform (MCSM: DP)
- Microsoft Certified:
- Active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
