Shift: 2nd Shift – 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday

Starting Pay: $19.06/hr;
Additional Pay: 2nd shift $1.50/hr, 3rd/D/C shift $3/hr

Machine Technician I operates a minimum of one production machine in an area or department and performs basic preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Operate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products.
• Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
• Perform changeovers and washes that meet or exceed specifications.
• May be responsible for breaking co‑workers.
• Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
• Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance/controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean work area and participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds.

• High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred.
• Mechanically inclined preferred.
• Fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and/or equivalent work experience.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language.
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, focus and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.
