Emergency Room Registered Nurse Location

Danville, VA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, Rotating Weekends/As Needed

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the Emergency Department and demonstrate a professional, positive, compassionate attitude while working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages in the emergency department.
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations effectively.
• Assist in triaging and prioritizing patient care based on clinical needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of departmental processes and patient care practices.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, Handle with Care, and NIH certifications are required.
• Experience with electronic health records (Primarily Med Host and Meditech).
