Restaurant Team Member

This position is with an independently owned and operated Pantry Fried Chicken location. The local operator is responsible for all hiring and employment decisions.

At Pantry Fried Chicken, teamwork is essential. Restaurant Team Members are cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the restaurant, including cashier/customer service, order packing, food preparation, breading and frying chicken, stocking, cleaning, and other restaurant operations
. Your assigned station may change depending on the needs of the restaurant.

Customer Service

• Greet every customer warmly and professionally.
• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service.
• Take orders and operate the point-of-sale system when assigned.
• Practice appropriate suggestive selling.
• Thank customers and invite them to return.
• Represent Pantry Fried Chicken with professionalism and pride.

Food Preparation & Kitchen

• Learn and follow Pantry Fried Chicken recipes and preparation procedures.
• Bread and fry chicken according to PFC standards.
• Prepare, pack, and verify customer orders accurately.
• Follow proper portion sizes and food-quality standards.
• Keep food and service areas stocked, clean, organized, and fresh.
• Properly handle, label, store, and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Follow food-safety, handwashing, sanitation, and glove-use requirements.

Teamwork & Restaurant Operations

• Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work your scheduled shift.
• Be willing to learn and work different stations as needed.
• Maintain clean floors, counters, equipment, dining areas, and workstations.
• Communicate shortages, equipment issues, customer concerns, or other problems to management promptly.
• Work cooperatively and communicate respectfully with other team members.
• Follow the Pantry Fried Chicken dress code and restaurant policies.

Safety & Equipment

• Follow all restaurant safety procedures.
• Properly operate and clean fryers and other restaurant equipment after receiving training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

We are looking for positive, dependable people who enjoy working as part of a team.
Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required — we will train the right person.

Positions are available for full-time and part-time Restaurant Team Members. Team members may work cashier, packing, kitchen, breading, frying, food preparation, or other stations based on training and restaurant needs.
